Lucia Catellani, a buyer for Dulevo, successfully completed her master's degree in management engineering at the University of Parma on July 16, distinguishing herself with the highest score awarded by the committee. His thesis, a 213-page paper, addressed a topic central to the Cleantech Group: the integration of the purchasing teams of four companies - Ravo, Mathieu, Scarab and Dulevo - into one organization. This important project is an example of how academic theory can be applied to a real-world, evolving business context.

The integration project, involving the purchasing teams of the four brands, aims to create operational synergies without neglecting local specificities. Lucia's thesis did not just describe this process, but analyzed its various aspects through thorough theoretical research on organizational change and integration of purchasing. In the second part of her paper, Lucia presented a detailed analysis of the activities carried out within Cleantech, explaining how the integration process was planned to be gradual and inclusive, aiming for evolution rather than revolution, and actively involving people.

Parallel to her studies, Lucia held a part-time role at Dulevo, managing a purchasing portfolio worth €25 million per year, focused on components such as wiring harnesses, electronics, and plastics. Despite her university commitment, Lucia actively participated in the process of integrating purchasing teams, including taking part in international meetings, such as the meeting at Scarab, and contributing with her colleagues to contain costs and foster a policy of quality and technological improvement on her assigned categories.

This achievement not only underscores Lucia's expertise and commitment, but also demonstrates Dulevo's ongoing support for its employees and young talent. By offering Lucia a part-time contract during her studies, the company made it possible for her to grow professionally in parallel with her academic career, including supporting her in the development of her thesis.

As of September 1, Lucia joined the Dulevo team full-time with global responsibilities, further contributing to the integration of purchasing processes across the group's different companies. This step represents not only an important milestone in Lucia's career path, but also a significant milestone for Cleantech, which sees its commitment to innovation and efficiency strengthened through the contribution of its young talent.
