In 1976, in a small garage in Parma, a group of engineers designed the first prototype of the historic 120 industrial sweeper model, featuring mechanical suction and filtering technology, a solution that helped to modernise the concept of large-scale urban sweepers. They did not know it at the time, but from that moment and in that first production workshop, they would give life to a history of tradition, passion and technology that continues to this day.

In 1982, the first company-owned factory was built in the historic Sanguinaro site, marking the beginning of a challenging period of market consolidation, with the 3-wheel 200 and 500 models, recently designed at the time, playing a leading role.

D.D.V. GmbH is set up to market the entire range of road and industrial products in the German and Austrian markets, with a network of sub-dealers throughout the country.

With the acquisition by the well-known Lampogas Group, the large Dulevo industrial complex is built in Fontanellato (PR). Dulevo International receives the impetus to become the largest manufacturer in Italy and Europe in the industrial and urban cleaning sector. A frenetic period of research and development begins, leading to the industrialisation of the product and the creation of several new models in all market segments.

The 5000 model represents a real revolution in the street sweeper market: it combines cleaning efficiency, dust control and environmental friendliness, making it versatile for a wide range of working contexts, urban and industrial areas, and offering superior performance and low operating costs. Dulevo becomes a pioneer in offering the mechanical-suction-filtering combination as a complete machine concept.

Dulevo obtains its first ISO 9001 certification for production quality and customer satisfaction.

An important project is launched in collaboration with the University of Pisa, TÜV and DNV for the filtration of fine dust: Dulevo equips its sweepers with the famous Gore filter, allowing for a reduction of PM10 fine dust of over 99%.

An important development takes place in the world of Dulevo sweepers: methane gas power is introduced with the 5000 CNG model. The Dulevo network is expanding rapidly and the new ‘Dulevo India’ branch is inaugurated.

The 3000 and 6000 models represent a modernisation of sweepers, thanks to the implementation of 4WS and the use of Dulevo Telematic, a portal that allows remote access to diagnostics and information about the vehicle.

Dulevo intensifies its internationalisation process outside Europe and arrives in China, America, Indonesia, the Middle East and Asia, thanks also to the production process, which has moved from island assembly to lean line assembly in order to improve work and make machine production more efficient.

Dulevo becomes increasingly sustainable: with the new D.Zero2 model, the company begins manufacturing electrically powered products.

The real historic revolution for Dulevo comes with the acquisition of the company by the large Fayat Group, a global leader in the production of construction and industrial machinery. This is also a decisive year from a production point of view: two very important models are launched on the market, the D6 and the D3, which feature modern and innovative characteristics thanks to the new Load Sensing function and the transition from electromechanical to electrical control.

Dulevo's rebranding emphasised its commitment to aligning itself with the Group, while keeping the brand's values intact.

The ESG department is established with the appointment of an internal Ambassador network. In addition, the environmental impact is measured and the first Sustainability Report is published.

The new version of the D.Zero2 model is launched, 100% electric, offering greater comfort and more efficient engines. Dulevo launches the Distribution Guideline project for greater harmonisation of the commercial network.

The D6 Veloce, the fastest road sweeper ever, capable of speeds of up to 80 km/h, is launched. Bosco Dulevo is created in collaboration with KMVerde Parma in the company park. The successes continue: 2025 is the year of the medal.

Dulevo celebrates its 50th anniversary, an important milestone that will see many new developments: a brand new range of industrial sweepers will be launched, photovoltaic panels will be installed throughout the headquarters, and Dulevo Academy will enter a phase of maximum expansion.
